AI CleanWeb for iPhone - whole-phone protection, now at 1.1.0

AI CleanWeb is on the iPhone. Get it on the App Store.

  • One app protects the whole phone: every app and every browser, blocking ads, trackers and AI crawlers at the DNS level. No VPN is involved.
  • Setup is a couple of taps - iOS asks once for permission to manage DNS settings, and that is the whole install.
  • Version 1.1.0 shows the free trial details up front, before you subscribe, and polishes onboarding.

Update

Chrome 3.2.0 and Firefox 1.72.0 - your blocked total now counts browsers too

Two extension releases, both live now.

  • The extensions report what they block, so your total protection count now includes ads and trackers stopped inside the browser - not just on your network.
  • The Chrome count is deliberately conservative: the real number is at least what you see.
  • Firefox adds occasional, helpful notifications about your protection. They are entirely optional - if you decline the notifications permission they never appear, and you can turn them off any time.

Updates arrive automatically through the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons.

Mac app 1.3 - stats you can trust

Every number the Mac app shows is now real, verified against your network - never assumed.

  • The menu bar icon and dashboard reflect your actual protection state, checked live.
  • Device pages show true allowed and blocked counts for each device.
  • Actions like pausing protection only report success once the server confirms them, and show a clear inline error if something goes wrong.
  • VPN detection refreshes every minute, so the "VPN active" notice appears and clears promptly.
  • Fixed an issue where a newly added device on the Free plan could browse unfiltered. Free devices now block correctly from the first minute.

Free tier and 14-day trial for the Mac app

The Mac app now starts everyone with 14 days of the full feature set - no card required - and drops to a free tier afterwards, never a paywall wall. Core system-wide ad & tracker blocking stays free.

Mac app 1.2 - your VPN comes first

The Mac app now detects when a VPN is handling your DNS and tells you honestly - an amber notice and a clear guide to what still protects you (your extensions and your other devices), instead of fake numbers. Also in this release: a cleaner Devices view and a smarter DNS status check. Plus: a new FAQ on the website answering the VPN question straight, and this helpdesk you are reading right now.
