How do I pause blocking temporarily?

Sometimes a checkout page or embedded video misbehaves and you just want everything off for a minute. Open the Pause section in the Mac app and pause protection for a short period - it re-enables itself automatically, so you can't accidentally leave yourself unprotected. For a single problem site, the allowlist is usually the better tool.
